Wellstorm
An Endless Descent
by Patrick Shearon · TR Hawthorne
A modern, endless take on the classic 80s tube shooter. Retro wireframe vector aesthetic with HDR glow and a full CRT post-process, procedurally generated wells, and difficulty that ramps forever — you descend until you are overwhelmed. Built in Godot 4.5.
- Every wave is a procedurally generated well — tubes, stars, blooms, canyons and rifts. Never the same run twice.
- Flippers, Tankers, Spikers and Pulsars, each with their own way of ruining your night.
- Every 5th wave is a bonus round: Ring Run, Zap Frenzy, Spike Garden, Orb Harvest, or the Leviathan.
- The Mirror — a ghost-claw haunts one well in ten. Don’t shoot it. Let it hit you.
- Accuracy bonus every wave. Extra life every 20,000 points. High score persists.
- Every sound and the entire synthwave theme are generated procedurally at boot. No audio files.
