Ultima On Wow will go live this thursday @ midnight (4/16/2009).
The testing phase is now over and we have a solid core and server in place. Come join the fun and reigster today over at http://uowow.com
Imagine a good stable environment like WOW, with a rule set like UO,
with full loot drops, no multi-instanced dungeons, all controllable
content , housing, crafting, resource control and more?
Would that appeal to you?
If it does I would like to invite each of you to help test and shape a new WowServer running ArcEMU with wow/bc/wotlk 3.0.9.
If you would like to play or help out contact me here or
Hawthorne@theregulators.org with your Account name and password that you would like.
Steps to participate:
1) Download the UO-WOW Launcher
http://www.theregulators.org/UltimaOnWow.zip
2) Make sure your comptuer has .NET 2.0
3) Download the WOW Client (
http://www.theregulators.org/InstallWow.zip) and patch to 3.0.9
4) Run UltimaOnWow.EXE (AS ADMIN!!!!)
5) Press Connect.
Once you've done this it will make the adjustments needed to log onto
this server. Once you exit the launcher it will revert back to your
Original WOW setup for retail servers.
A forthcoming web page and more information will be ready soon.

Analysts warned of the impending attacks from the Conficker worm today and it seems the latest company to be hit is none other than Grecian gaming developer Adventurine, better known for their MMO Darkfall. Conficker has been said to potentially delete personal files, attempt to steal private information, or hi-jack the PC by linking to a master computer.
In an odd twist, the virus appears to have actually helped stabilize servers and fix many issues plaguing the premature MMO. We managed to contact Tasos Flambouras who had this to say, "Well this sucks." Players have rejoiced that Conficker was also noted to take control of the character in-game and level lesser magic for them. "The AI in this game is so amazing, but now that my character plays by itself I can actually masturbate to it", said one player named Luzarius.
This is a developing story.
