I have gotten an early start on the site redesign and I must say it beats the old one! I'd like to thank myself for making the page look better. I really should pat myself on the back more! Anyhow enjoy!
New Darkfall screens released. POW! Now this is a pick I can believe in. After all the hoopla surrounding Darkfall, it looks like Aventurine has finally started showing us what they have been doing for all those years! Impressive? Meh sub par as far as what you see, but we don't play games for what we see its what we do in them that keeps us. That said Darkfall will be brutal and unforgiving and I for one cannot wait.

Hail gamers.
We have put together a little video of our feature fragment with some improved texture assets.
There is collision added with the walls and power-ups, you can see I am an dreadful driver, and there is only one power-up at the beginning.
Also, there are the AI racers that are there to compete against..

At the moment we only have one segment of track, so that’s all you get to see now. By the time we have testing,
in about a week from now, we will have multiple pieces of track and the ability do do multiple laps.
If you wish to participate in testing, please look to the forums for testing times and dates.
Stay tuned, and remember..Starships don’t need keys.

For those who have been around, you know that I've been working on
an mmo for 2 years with my team as a side project. I have been a full
time developer for SWGEmu for the last 3 1/2 years and I don't seem to
have time for either project anymore.
I have re-written the entire system several times, which has led to this latest iteration.
It is not by any means a functional MMO. In fact, All you can really do is login and walk around. (Very buggy at that).
I
don't really have the time to continue full development of this game,
but I figured I would provide the community with at least a starting
point, to see for themselves the complexities of an online game.
I admit fully that the code is probably not that good and I will accept all criticism.
The code and projects are in VB.NET 2008.
The
client uses Geonardo and EEGUI. You will need a license for EEGUI if
you wish to remove the watermark, or you could just gut the GUI all
together. It's your call
Also I have removed all of the media from the directory.
You will need to download geonardo from www.zepadev.net in order to use the media library.
And you will have to put in a player model (I just used the one from AGT's 3rd person demo) as placeholder art.
Anyways, here are the links.

The
only thing that I ask is that if you make any big changes, or can
improve on the code, please post them so we can all learn and better
our knowledge.

and the SQL script is www.ftw-studios.com/source/TCPDB-111108.sql
If you want to see screens or whatever,

This
comes with no support, but I do hang out in the Truevision IRC pretty
much all day while I'm at work, so I can answer any questions you may
have.
Thanks,

Hello All!
We are proud to present you with our newest "Milestone" in our
project, Feature Fragment 1. After some revision, we have come up with
some cool stuff!
This is our first track segment and piece of track that is textured and
implemented. I wanted to clarify, the first post I made had a
picture that is from F-Zero GX.
That was one of our proof of concept pictures, we used
it for place holding and concept. Here is some ACTUAL game footage.

Beta Test will be coming soon, look to the forums for more information. NOTE: ALL TEXTURES ARE PLACE HOLDERS!!
