Thanks to my buddy Arius I was able to rig up SSAO (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Screen_Space_Ambient_Occlusion) inside of geonardo for some impressive results, its very tweaky but its very cool that it works in such a generic environment that you guys can use whilst building worlds!!

The death of OpenGL in the gaming industry

The much anticipated release of OpenGL 3.0 was made this week. I wont go into much detail but I would like to point out that OpenGL from a developers standpoint has abandoned the Gaming Platform all-together in lieu of making a better 2.0 i.e 3.0 is not anyhting new at all, it is 2.0 with more extensions.

OpenGL and the backers of this technology have TOTALY failed this community. There is one thing that is clear: DirectX is the King of Gaming.
